I’m Streaming Again!

It’s been months since I streamed on Twitch. Serious, I think it was July the last time I clicked “start stream.”

Last night was my first night back, just as I planned. I was hoping to stream in the afternoon, but I quickly realized that wasn’t possible. I would only have an hour to an hour and a half to stream in the afternoons during the week, so I decided to push it to the evening.

Now, I didn’t have any viewers, but I’m okay with that. I know that it’s hard to take off. But I’m glad that I tried anyway.

I started the game Lili: Child of Geos, an indie title that was released a few years ago, that never really got any love. I happened to find it on a list of easy platinums back in late 2018. It seemed cute, so I gave it a shot, and fell in love with it. I wanted to play something that I knew, but that wasn’t overplayed on Twitch. Unfortunately, I went for something that doesn’t get any love.

But that’s ok, because I just wanted to get into the swing of things. So I went ahead and streamed for about an hour and forty five minutes. I got through half of the game, which is exactly what I planned.

I had a lot of fun taking the time to explain different aspects of the game, and just why I liked it. I made a point to explain the different things that made playing it fun, but also some of the choices that made it a problem. But it’s a fun game none the less.

The only real downside to last night (barring the fact that I was basically talking to myself the entire time) was that I lost connection twice. It happens, so I didn’t get mad about it, but it was annoying to have to pause and wait and see if the connection would reestablish itself, or if I would have to drop the stream and jump back in.

I plan on finishing the main storyline tonight at 8PM PST. It should only take two hours, since I did part of the third part of the story last night by accident. By that, I mean I was talking and the enemies, the Spirits, kept interrupting me, so I had to keep beating them. I’m not planning on going for 100%, only because it takes so damn long with two objectives (smash 500 pots and collect 1000 flowers). For context, I was smashing and collecting all stream, and I’m not even a fourth of the way there on either count.

My schedule for this week and next (including last night, because it was just easier to copy and paste it) currently planned to be:

Monday: Off
Tuesday: Lili: Child of Geos Part One
Wednesday: Lili: Child of Geos Part Two
Thursday: Disneyland Adventures Part One
Friday: Off
Saturday: Lego City Undercover or Lego Batman Part One
Sunday: Lego City Undercover or Lego Batman Part Two

Monday: Off
Tuesday: Disneyland Adventures Part Two
Wednesday: Disneyland Adventures Part Three
Thursday: Disneyland Adventures Part Four
Friday: Off
Saturday: Lego City Undercover or Lego Batman Part Three
Sunday: Lego City Undercover or Lego Batman Part Four

I want to limit playing Lego games on my channel to weekends, where I can dedicate a good chunk of time playing them. The reason I’m not sure which Lego game I’m going to play is because I ordered the Xbox 360 version of Batman, and it just depends on whether it arrives on time, and if my Xbox One will play it (which it should). If it is delayed, I’m gonna play through the story of Lego City Undercover and perhaps show off the full game, depending on time.

So, yeah, I’m back to streaming again on Twitch! At least for the next two weeks. I’m looking into streaming on Youtube out of curiosity, mostly because Twitch is so saturated. Honestly, this is when I kinda wish there was a new streaming service so I could jump in, but it is what it is. I’m totally cool with it.

If you want to pop in, I’ll be streaming at https://www.twitch.tv/remembermenever/ at 8PM tonight!

Until next time!
